Encoding problem when translated text's last character is an 'ó'
Reported by whatwho | March 3rd, 2011 @ 12:56 PM
If I have an yml file like this:
hu:
activerecord: models: user: one: "Felhasználó" other:
"Felhasználók"
ree-1.8.7-2010.02 > User.model_name.human( :count => 2
)
=> "Felhasználók"
but:
ree-1.8.7-2010.02 > User.model_name.human
=> "Felhasznál\303\263"
I tested many ways, if an 'ó' character is the last in the translated value, translation gives back an encoded version of the word. It gives back also, when I use I18n.t
I18n.t( 'activerecord.models.user' )
=> {:one=>"Felhasznál\303\263",
:other=>"Felhasználók"}
